Americans need reliable internet connection now more than ever

The current coronavirus pandemic has led to officials on all levels to urge Americans to stay at home as much as possible. As a product of this, academic institutions have resorted to online learning. Many businesses are allowing their employees to work from home if possible. Even the entertainment industry has made the adjustment by hosting live-streamed events. What does all this lead to? Due to a significant amount of people being online at once, there is more internet traffic going on at one time. This causes a lot of stress on network providers to deliver reliable service. We need to be connected now more than ever, people’s paychecks are literally depending it. Other countries who have been more severely impacted by the virus have already seen up to a 70% increase in home internet usage.
